Conferences Conferences For the selection of conference projects seeking financial support, particular attention will be paid to a concept that is innovative in its method and content and involves an international group of participants. Applications should be submitted in good time, at least six months before the start of the event. The Foundation does not provide any guidelines about what form such an application should take, nor is there an application form for conferences. Important information for applicants: When applying for financial support for conferences, please use an electronic application form. This also applies to smaller funding amounts (max. € 15,000). Applications for funding of a conference should contain the following documents: application overview (Form for conference application) short conference concept (5 pages max.) list of speakers and subjects cost plan which provides information about the volume of funding the applicants can provide themselves and grants that have been promised by other supporting institutions (Normally, the Foundation covers travel expenses and hotel expenses - no flat-rate daily allowance, speaker's fees, simultaneous translation and interpreters for European languages shall be paid.
