Since January 2015 the Gerda Henkel Foundation and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research are supporting the compilation of the Martin Buber edition. It will be edited by Prof. Dr. Paul Mendes-Flohr (Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities) and Prof. Dr. Bernd Witte (Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf). Recently, the publisher Gütersloher Verlagshaus created an own website about Martin Buber.
