Der Friedhof von Noin-Ula in der nördlichen Mongolei ist ein bedeutendes Zeugnis der Sepulkralkultur der Xiongnu, der frühen asiatischen Hunnen. Die bis zu 18 Meter tiefen Grabschächte bieten reichhaltige Funde, vor allem seltenes organisches Material. Ein Team russischer Archäologen erforscht mit modernsten Methoden eines der letzten großen Fürstengräber.
